Over the festive period I had the pleasure of covering Matthew & Anna's wedding in Nottingham.

My first stop of the day was to see the girls, to capture the detail shots and a few general shots before I headed over to see the boys. When I arrived, I found Matthew and his groomsmen in the midst of getting ready. They all looked well in their tweed tailored suits and after a few portraits, it was time to head back to the girls.

Anna was working with her make up artist when I arrived, so I grabbed a few shots of her and then when she was ready, captured the moment as she put on her beautiful dress. I have to say though that all the girls looked stunning in their navy blue dresses.

Next stop was the village church where the ushers were busy guiding guests in to the church and to their seats. The weather was very atmospheric with a thick layer of fog hanging over us all day. After an emotional ceremony we travelled back to The Gallery at The Riverbank on Trent Bridge to begin the celebrations.

The new Mr & Mrs Walker arrived to the warm welcome of their friends and family, all ready to wish them well and give them a kiss and hug! We headed out into the fog to take some great group shots and some striking images of Matthew & Anna on the bridge.

I must mention the speeches at this point, as all three of them were brilliant. Full of humour, emotion and memories, everyone in the audience had a smile on their faces during this part of the day.

A few weeks ago, Anna suffered an ankle injury that caused a few things to be changed around but she soldiered on throughout the day, which was amazing. Matthew and Anna are a great couple who I really enjoyed working with and everyone of their guests made me feel very welcome throughout the celebrations.
