Last weekend, after months of planning and building, David & Scarlett's big day arrived. The ceremony was to be held at St Mary's Church in Scarlett's hometown of Derby followed by a celebration at David's farm in Harthill.

I met up with David and his best men at his home early on Saturday, to capture the details and grab a few shots of the boys relaxing before a busy day. From here I travelled down to Derby to see the girls and capture the preparation as it unfolded. Everyone was very calm and relaxed and before long, Scarlett was in her beautiful dress and getting ready to leave for the Church in a lovingly restored Vintage Ford.

After the ceremony the wedding party travelled back to Harthill to begin the celebrations. The new Mr & Mrs Brocksopp made the trip in David's absolutely stunning vintage Mini Cooper, which looked pretty special when it arrived at the reception.

Over a few weeks, David & Scarlett turned one of the storage barns into a fantastic looking wedding venue. Homemade sofas, tables, lights and even a bar all made this one of the best venues I've seen in a while. The great local pub, The Beehive supplied drinks well into the evening and the famous Nether Edge Pizza Company kept the guests happy with some awesome stone fired pizzas.

I absolutely loved shooting this wedding, David & Scarlett are a great couple who put on a stunner of a wedding and the journey home was short as I live in the same village!
